Payment & Cancellation Policies

 Fishing, Riding and Cabin Stays…

Deposits & Payments:

When booking for the next calendar year, a deposit of $250 per person is required to reserve dates; then 50% is due January 15. For bookings in the same calendar year, a 50% deposit is required to reserve dates. We operate on a first-paid, first-reserved basis. Your reservation is not confirmed until we receive your deposit. The balance is due 60 days before arrival, and we will charge any outstanding balance to the credit card on file at that time. Reservations made within 60 days require full payment. All deposits and payments are non-refundable under any circumstances. If we do not receive payment when due, we reserve the right to assume the reservation is canceled and offer your space to our wait list.

Cancellation Policy:

Because of the short season, remote location, high safety standards, and industry-leading service, our wilderness experiences are operationally cost-intensive. For that reason, our Cancellation Policy is as follows:

You may cancel your trip at any time, but all payments, deposits, and fees paid to Budge’s are 100% non-refundable. No exceptions. If a fishing trip, horseback riding trip, or cabin stay is canceled with more than 60 days' notice prior to the arrival date, the non-refundable deposit may be credited toward other guests or other dates within 12 months of the date of the original reservation, subject to availability, and updated rates may apply. For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the arrival date, the exact reservation may be transferred to another guest, or the payments received will be forfeited. For these reasons, we strongly advise guests to purchase cancellation insurance. These are Budge's standard operating policies and are subject to change without notice.

Hunting Trips…

Deposits & Payments :

When booking more than a year in advance, a $500 per-person deposit is required to reserve your dates; then 50% is due December 15 of the year preceding your hunt. If you book less than a year in advance, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your dates. We operate on a first-paid, first-reserved basis. Your reservation is not confirmed until we receive your deposit and contract. The balance is due 90 days prior to arrival. If we do not receive payment when due, we reserve the right to assume the reservation is canceled and offer your space to our wait list.

ARCHERY AND MUZZLELOADER HUNTERS ONLY: Our area requires preference points to draw archery and muzzleloader tags. Please contact us BEFORE the draw to reserve your spot. If you contact us after the draw, we will not have a spot saved for you. A $500 deposit will reserve your spot and lock in your price at current rates. If you do not draw, we will roll your deposit over to the following year. This deposit does not expire and will remain active until you draw the license. When you draw the license, 50% of the hunt cost is due by June 15 to confirm your hunt dates. The balance will be due upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel a hunting trip more than 90 days before the arrival date, we may credit the non-refundable deposit toward other guests or dates within 12 months of the original reservation date, subject to availability; updated rates may apply. For cancellations made less than 90 days prior to the arrival date, the exact reservation may be transferred to another guest, or the payments received will be forfeited.

For these reasons, we strongly advise you to purchase vacation cancellation insurance through your local provider. These are Budge's standard operating policies and are subject to change without notice.
