Located on the South Fork of the White River,
Budge's Flattops Wilderness Lodge serves as the
base camp for some of the best big game hunting
in Colorado. Elk and Mule Deer hunting is in
the Flattops Wilderness Area of the White River
National Forest in Game Management Unit 24. Budge's
offers three different types of big game hunt
packages for both Mule Deer and Elk hunters:
MAIN LODGE/CABINS
For those who prefer the comfort of a cabin and the convenience of a central
lodge. Hunting is done by horseback, with daily trips into the wilderness area.
This hunt is full service with wranglers, guides, horses, food and cook... all
included in one fee.
DROP CAMPS
You bring your sleeping bag, food and personal gear. We provide the tent, stove
and furnish riding and pack-horses to pack you and your gear in. We then come
back at the end of your hunt and pack out everything, including you and your
game.
