Nestled in a serene, remote setting on the banks of the south fork of the White
River, Budge's Lodge has been a choice Colorado wilderness destination for
over 75 years. Built in 1931 by Ed Budge, the lodge has seven guest cabins
and is
located 75 miles northwest of Vail, Colorado, 40 miles from the nearest paved
road. The rustic yet comfortable cabins use only propane heat and lights.
